About Us

DrumWright is one of the leading Drum and Percussion Specialists in the United Kingdom. We are located in Woodley, close to Reading and Junction 10 of the M4.

Currently in our 10th Anniversary year, DrumWright is a family business founded by the current directors, Chris and Brooke Wright, in 1996. In addition to the directors, the company employs six full-time staff and several part-time staff. All of the sales team are drummers, and cover most musical genres from marching band to metal.

The company is also privileged to retain the services of Nigel Shipway, one of the UK's leading percussionists, as a consultant. We also have strong links with top players and teachers; many of whom have undertaken clinics and masterclasses for us. In DrumWright's smartly equipped showrooms, customers can view a comprehensive range of equipment - and try it out, if they wish in the three private, sound-proof demonstration rooms. To get an impression of our range and depth of stock, and demonstration facilities, visit our shop tour. Our recently refurbished showrooms feature plasma screens showing the latest DVD releases, high level shelving, and an unrivalled display of stock, backed up by huge quantities at our warehouse. Your shopping experience is enhanced by our Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems, which enable us to process your transactions, update records, and check and order stock with the maximum of efficiency.

DrumWright is consistently one of the UK's top drum stores (by sales turnover) for major brand names such as Pearl, Yamaha, Drum Workshop, Zildjian and Sabian.
