Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions ensure that customers can shop with confidence at DrumWright.

Price

All prices are in £ sterling inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery. Delivery charges will be shown when you place items in your basket. You may pay by any major credit card, debit card or PayPal. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order.

Availability of Stock

We aim to stock the vast majority of items listed on our website all the time (subject to availability from our suppliers). Items marked “3-14 days” are items we do not stock ourselves, but which can be obtained from our suppliers within that timescale most of the time.

Items marked “SPO” (Special Purchase Order) are items which the suppliers themselves do not always stock, and we will advise on availability as orders are placed (or you can telephone or email us).

Payments on web purchases are processed through market leaders SagePay. SagePay will only debit your card when we confirm to them that we can fulfil your order. In the event that we are out of stock of any item on your order, we will contact you promptly and offer you several options which may include a full or partial refund (partial if we are able to fulfil some items, but not all), alternative (generally upgraded) items, or the option to place out of stock items on order. We will provide you with a lead time.

Pricing Disclaimer

All products are subject to availability, and can be withdrawn without notice. While every reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy, DrumWright reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw pricing in the event of misprint or accidental errors.

Delivery and Carriage Charges

Delivery for on-line purchases is restricted to the Mainland United Kingdom, and some exclusions apply.

Please note: Standard courier charges apply to England, Wales and parts of Scotland. The Highlands and Islands, off-shore islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands are all subject to a delivery premium (Highlands and Islands BT, HS1-HS9, IM, IV7, IV9-12, IV14-28, IV30-32, IV36, IV40-56, KA27-28, KW, AB37–38, AB44-45, AB53-56, CA18-27, GY, JE, PA20-38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PA80-88, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25, ZE). Please contact us for an accurate quote. Or, if you proceed to check out and you live in one of the postcode areas, we will contact you to arrange payment of the supplement. This is a charge levied by UPS, not DrumWright.

If you are purchasing an item which may be very light in weight, it may be more cost effective for you to call our sales team on 0118 944 1418 and enquire into delivery by post, recorded delivery. This option is available to you, but you must phone us to arrange this.

All deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt. Delivery times and more details about delivery can be found in our 'Services' section. We will send you instructions for the courier when we confirm your purchase.

Returns

"No Fault" Returns

If you decide that the product you have ordered is not what you want, it can be exchanged for an alternative product within 30 days of purchase provided it is in “as new” condition (see below), and you can supply the original receipt. Any items supplied at no extra charge must also be returned.

In addition, under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy by telephone or online, you are entitled to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receiving the goods. The refund may include the delivery charge of sending the goods to you, but you bear the cost of returning goods to us. You can of course return the goods to our shop in person. Again, you must supply the original receipt.

Exclusions

"As new condition" means without marks (including stick marks on drums and cymbals) and with original packaging.

Unless faulty, or not as described, we cannot exchange or offer a refund for:

  • Items which were not standard stock and were ordered in especially for you
  • DVDs, software or microphones which are no longer factory sealed

Missing, Incomplete or Damaged Orders

  • If your order does not arrive within the expected time period;

OR

  • If the order arrives and goods are damaged
    • please email our customer services team on enquiries@drumwright.co.uk or call on 0118 944 1418 Monday-Saturday 10am-5.45pm within 48 hours of receipt.

Please carefully inspect all items and do not sign for your package unless you are completely satisfied it has arrived in good condition. If you are unable to inspect your package, add a note alongside your signature to say that the item has not been inspected when you sign for it. If you can see the item has not arrived in good condition, sign for the goods as DAMAGED.

      Faulty Goods

If an item is found to be faulty, or develops a fault during the warranty period, please phone us on 0118 944 1418. We may be able to diagnose the problem over the telephone, and help you fix it.

With certain products, you may be able to diagnose and rectify the problem yourself. Please:

      • check the manufacturer’s product website for known issues
      • check the item’s instruction manual for a troubleshooting section
      • check for visible marks which may suggest the item has been damaged
      • if an item works on a power supply or batteries, try using it on battery power only – the power supply itself may be at fault
      • remember not to use excessive force, or open items to try and repair yourself. You will invalidate your warranty!

If you are unable to resolve the problem yourself, please telephone or email us within 48 hours. A customer service representative will get back to you as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: Please note the name of the DrumWright members of staff you have spoken to about your repair, and give us as much information as possible about the problem. This will help us to rectify it speedily.

We may be able to resolve the problem ourselves, or we may need to return it to the manufacturer or distributor. It is their decision whether to repair or replace. We will let you know when the problem is resolved, and organise for you to collect it or for us to deliver it to you. If your item becomes faulty within the first 30 days of purchase, we will endeavour to replace it immediately. Repairs can take up to 3 weeks. If it involves a longer timeframe, we will inform you.

      Warranty

All items purchased new from DrumWright come with a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects. Additionally, many manufacturers offer extended warranties with selected products. Please read the documentation that comes with your product regarding warranties as most manufacturers require you to register your product in order to make warranty claims.

If your item is still in warranty, we will bear the costs of you sending the goods back to us, repair or replacement, and subsequently return to you. If your item is outside its warranty period, you will normally bear the costs for parts, labour and delivery.

We will estimate such charges before going ahead with your repair. NB – these arrangements apply only to customers resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We cannot cover the cost of collection or delivery for international repairs and warranties.

      Forum

The views and opinions of participants in the Forum do not represent those of DrumWright Limited, and/or our suppliers. We cannot be held responsible for the content of "SPAMMING", although we will do everything reasonably possible to reduce/limit this type of content.

      Competitions

Please note that competition entries are only accepted from residents of the United Kingdom only. Duplicate entries will result in the entry/entries being disqualified. No purchase is necessary. We reserve the right to terminate competitions at little or no notice. Our decision is final. Your e-mail address will be added to our database when you enter a competition. We will not disclose your personal details to anyone else. Competition entries are drawn by random computer selection on the close date - only one person will win.

      Raffle Ticket Sales

Only residents of the UK can purchase raffle tickets which are usually sold in conjunction with our events. Winners are drawn at random, and only a set number will win a prize, according to the availability of prizes. Judges decision is final. Raffles can be terminated at little or no notice if affected by events beyond our control.

      Images

All images used on this website to accompany product descriptions are for reference only. The image may not represent the product accurately. For example, it may feature six drums when only five are included, a colour that is no longer available, or a cymbal pack which may not be included. We do tell you what is, and what is not included in the Product Summaries.
